CELEBRITY TALK in association with Double Take: Anne Landa award for video and new media arts 2009
Remo Giuffré, founder of REMO General Store and pioneer of social media in conversation with Moya Sayer-Jones
Remo founded the REMO General Store in 1988 and relaunched it with an
online focus as a Global Community General Store in 2000. During the same year, he also co-founded
General Thinking, a global network of thinkers committed to the notion that
the Community is the Brand. | | Remo is a design consultant and supplier of merchandise to the US-based TED Conferences, a relationship that dates back to 1993 when Remo attended his first TED at the invitation of founder Richard Saul Wurman. Although not formally trained as a designer, Remo has been dreaming and doodling for much of his life. | |
